To the entire Guru community:

It's with a heavy heart that I must inform you that this site, Guild Wars Guru, will be shutting down on July 1st and will remain in Archive Mode. Over the past 11 years, we've become, and continued to remain, the #1 fansite for Guild Wars, and it's all because to you guys. Without such a strong and passionate community, Guru would have never made it this far and so we thank you for that.

And while we will be saying good-bye to our home here, we will continue to host forums for the GW community over at our sister site, Guild Wars 2 Guru. In fact, you are more than welcome to head on over now and begin posting. If you have any threads you'd like to transfer over, now would be the time.

So once again thank you, and especially those that contributed their time and knowledge to make Guru the amazing place it was. We'll see you over at Guild Wars 2 Guru!

ShadowStorm Wilds Pathfinder Join Date: May 2005 Location: Take me where I cannot stand. Guild: The Better Part of Valor Profession: W/N	Bring back the Quests with Item Rewards! What happened to them? At the beginning of the game, quests like these were everywhere! Go kill so and so and I'll give you this nifty 7-10 sword with +15% damage while enchanted and +15% damage while in a stance. Go bring me this item and I'll give you a focus with 3 +energy stats on it in addition to it's normal Energy bonus. I miss those kinds of quests. Here I am at the end of the game, and I haven't seen a quest like that since I was in Kryta. All the quests at the end of the game only have Exp rewards. Exp rewards that aren't very useful considering we're all already level 20. Those Exp reward quests would have been much more useful at the beginning of the game. And come to think about it, the item reward quests would have been much more useful here at the end of the game. Quests with high-end items with unique stats would be more useful when equiped items are the only way to improve our characters. Does anyone else agree? Bring back the quests with Item Rewards!
